Trekking in Ladakh :
The best time for a trek in Ladakh is July to October. Ladakh offers every type of trail. Even you can trek with family and friends. Do take care and read properly about altitude problems and if once you have acclimitized-then you are fine to go high. You can choose any trail from list of treks given below.

Trekking in Zhanskar:- Both are known for their unique lanscapes and culture. Trekking here is usually strenuous and we will not encourage beginners to opt for these treks. If you have done initial trekking in Himalayas-try Ladakh and you are going to fall in love with this mystic land.

Trekking in the Leh districts is a fascinating experience. The mixture of Buddhism and Islam is a unique feature of this place. A trek for 7-8 days in Leh over moderately high passes takes to you to a visit to Markha valley, Stok village and Hemis monastery. Read Report

Zanskar is a sub-division of Kargil district. Remote and isolate, Zanskar is known for its spectacular mountains and extreme winter. For people who enjoy nature in its original form Zanskar is the perfect place.

Motorable Passes: On the north and eastern exits of the Indus valley in Ladakh are two of the world's highest motorable passes: Khardungla at 18,300 ft for the Nubra valley and Taglangala at 17,500 ft on the Manali road, are amongst the highest in the world.
