Punjab flooded - more to come.
Three main breahces in river SATLUJ caused havoc in Punjab where more than 100 villages had been submerged in water. Situation was so tense that ARMY help was saught and today CM PUNJAB had taken aerial view of situation.
Distt. of Moga, Kapurthala, Jalandhar wee badly effected due to swollen SATLUJ but Ferozpore had been effected badly. Army is trying to help people stranded in remote villages but no concrete DISASTER MANAGEMENT from Civil authorities yet.
Alram had been sounded in more than 50 village sof border area- AJNALA near Amritsar where threat of flood is most likely.
Railway traffic from and to Ferozpore from all directions has been closed. There i no electricity and availability of potable drinking water in all these regions.

Punjab coming to normalcy
Punjab is coming to it' normal life although people are not happy with govt. and it's attitude of corruption. Many villagers had alleged that FLOOD is golden oppertunity for corruption for officers and politicians.
Situtation in Punjab.
No rains and no fire in floods but people who have suffered are just becoming slaves of TV cameras and media and ofcourse state Govt. which is interested in making their situation more grom- so that they could get more money from CENTRE.
After all this is whole money game- who cares who lives or dies !
More to come- panic among people.
Situation seems to on edge as MET officials had predicted more rains in Punjab and Himachal pradesh in coming 2 days. If this happen- this will further choke DAMS on BEAS and SATLUJ...forcing more water to be released...and more water in plains of this fertile land.
As Satluj is already having more than it should - NANGAL DAM is righ now having more than it should contain. Authorities confirm that they have to release pressure for 20 minutes minimum...this will clreate swelling in already swollen Satluj. More water will be effecting villages which are in periphery.
GHAGHR in Patiala had aleady received thread alerts. Border town of Ajnala along with 50 villages had already been alerted.
If any breach in Beas happens- dry region of "W" Punjab will also suffer brunt of this calamity.

Water level receded, no rains so far.
Seems God has come to rescue of more than 1.0 Lakh effected by floods in Punjab. There are reports of water level going little low in DAMS of Pujab and as there are no fresh rainfall...we can hope that army will be able to control situation.

Eventless day- Punjab seems to be managing well.
Eventless day for Punjab. Water has reced in DAMS and if there is no rainfall..situation may come to normal very fast. There is active flood threat in DELHI as river YAMUNA has gone over the danger mark.
