Beas Kund, Hamta pass or Chanderkhani pass for family trekking.

Trekking Himalayas

Which will be best and comfortable trek among Hamta pass, Beas Kund and Chanderkhani pass. I saw images of al these and am confused what I should do ?

Not in winters

Guys- these regions are not for winters. Beas Kund areas is very good for skiing in winter but for those who afford tough going in mountains and have money to support this.

Hamta seems to be tough

I do not think that Hamta should be done with kids. Avoid Chanderkhani in March with kids..

I do not think that this pass should be tried with kids below 15-16.

Beas Kund is fine..

I do not think Hamta Pass should be fine for kids below 12-14.

Beas Kund is good for everyone- you can manage kids with ease.

I always advocate safety and security plus easy access and best is BEAS KUND. If kids can walk- you can go higher on slopes with your packed lunch !
