More than 10 panchayats in interior areas of “inner and outer Seraj” have emerged as a remote haven for opium and cannabis smugglers, who have developed a socially acceptable organised network in these areas.

From Jadingcha in Lug valley to Khanag-Jadang areas in Ani subdivision, poor villagers remain mute witnesses to their political maters’ “blame game” on the issue of development.

They continue to live in abject poverty in these isolated pockets.

Some effect came when whole business was blasted by news media and whole world saw what is going on in Parvati Valley.
