
This trek takes you from the Bhagirathi Valley to the Alaknanda Valley around the Garhwal himalayas. This trip excites the climbers as it is recommended for those who are use to high altitude treks. Starting from Gangotri, the trail takes you through Nandavan, the base of the Bhagirathi peaks. Here you can enjoy an unparalleled view of the Shivling peak. The trail then leads to Vasukital (4900 M). This lake is enclosed by many towering peaks. The surface of the lake outshines like a pearl and is the source of the Vasuki Ganga that drains into the Mandakini. Then you can cross the Kalindikhal pass (5968 M), it is a tough climb. Though its a tough climb but at the same time you enjoy being a part of the majestic setting of snow peaks. The trail then descends to Arwatal and to Mana the last village on the Chinese frontier. The trek finally ends at Badrinath with a visit to the holy temple. Highlights: Main Attraction of this trek includes Kalindikhal Pass and Vasuki tal. Kalindikhal pass is a very famous landmark which is crossed by many people between the Saraswati Valley and Gangotri Valley. Vasuki tal is located at a distance of 6km from Kedarnath. It is situated in the right side of the valley. Reflection of the sorrounding peaks is visible in the lake.
