Please comment on below mentioned trekking plan being given to me.
It is a short trek on the oldest migratory route followed by shepherds of Chamba and Kangra. Years ago, the British began trekking to Triund
on this route and today it is a popular trek route with the domestic as well as foreign tourists. The views from Laka are breathtaking and you occasionally come across shepherds rearing their flock of sheep in the green pastures.
Itinerary Subject to changes
Day 1 Singapore – Delhi - Pathankot
On arrival meet our local operator at the airport. Day Free and easy till you board an overnight train from Delhi to reach Chakki Bank early in the morning
Day 2 Pathankot – Triund (2975m, 6-7 hours)
Drive about 2 hours towards Gallu temple by car.
Breakfast enroute. Start walking on the well defined trail in the woods from Gallu temple to Triund (3 hrs)
Camp overnight at the meadows in Triund.
Day 3 Triund – Laka and back (3350m, 4-5 hours)
Have a relaxed start, after B/F walk for 2-3 hours to Laka. It offers an amphi-theatre view of the moon Peak and Dhaula Dhar Ranges. Absorb the breath-taking views and start the downhill walk to reach the campsite for hot Lunch. O/N stay in the camps.
Day 4 Triund – Delhi (3 hours drive + Train)
Walk down to McLeod Ganj (originally established as British garrison in the 1850s). Lunch in a restaurant & explore the township, which is more Tibetan than Indian. Home of the Holiness Dalai Lama McLeod Ganj is the capital of the Tibetan Government in Exile. Drive 3 hours to the Pathankot railway station to board the overnight train.
Day 5 Delhi - Singapore
Reach Delhi by 4:20 am. Day free N easy.
Catch the flight to Delhi as per scheduled.
O/N = overnight. B/F = breakfast

Macleod Ganj from Delhi - Train is not good
Trains are late- tough to get reservations [ this is overnight journey ] and bus travel in push back seats is better than train travel. This is funny to see that someone can suggest a travel plan like this....traveling from Delhi to Pathankot and same day you travel for macleod ganj and then trek to triund ?Wow...this shows that people from where you got this plan- had never been to this area.
Triund Ridge
This is funny and very funny how people are operating outdoor business. I could not understand how a client will feel fine to travel from SINGAPORe- DELHI and then to Pathankot which is very North in India and then on second day client is made to travel more and then trek of 4-6 hrs. to reach Triund.
I am sorry- I do not like this.
SUGGESTIONS:
1. You can board overnight tourist push back seats from Delhi to Macleod Ganj. Stay a night in hotel and have rest and have some feel of air.
